Tim Becker is an award winning director, designer, producer and photographer whose work focuses on the visceral power of light, capturing emotive and intimate moments.

His lighting designs for theatre, events, specialty architecture, and broadcast television span 3 decades. He designed lighting for The Empire State Building, Frank Gehry buildings, including The Experience Music Project in Seattle and Bio Museo, the first Gehry creation in Central and South America, located in Panama City, Panama. You can see his work at dozens of museums around the country, including The Gettysburg Cyclorama, The Chicago Historical Museum, The Sports Museum of America and the Woodstock Musuem at Bethel Woods.

Tim attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, and received a Bachelor's degree in Dramatic Art. He earned a Masters in Fine Art from the University of California, San Diego. Tim's work has been featured in international publications and media. He is a recipient of award grants from the National Endowment of the Arts and The Princess Grace Awards.
